Although we are a new business, I have over 15yrs experience in the field, both professionally and personal lived experience. How We Got Our Start
I started learning Auslan after my 4th Child was born and testing at 6 weeks old showed she was Deaf.
As my daughter grew, I knew that my learning needed to be one step ahead of my Daughters learning, so I started my studies in Auslan.
Since completing all my Certificates and Diplomas in Auslan and Interpreting, and working in Schools for the QLD Dept of Education for over 10yrs, I saw that some Deaf Adults in the Community are also needing Auslan support and not just looking for an interpreter, but needing additional support with the day to day tasks which through language can be a barrier, especially out in the community.
In November 2022, I decided to start my own business as a Sole Trader and support Adults and Children both in schools still, but also out in the community or in their homes or wherever they require the assistance and support.
My services also extended to Support Coordination due to requests from my clients.
I always endeavour to provide the most honest and personal service to my clients, based on their individual needs.
Everyone is entitled to live their lives, their way! I just help to support and put support networks in place.

I'm a sole trader and Qualified in Auslan, and I support Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Non-Verbal clients out and about in the Community and in their homes.
I also work in a Bilingual Bicultural Programme in ECDP with Deaf children for the Department of Education, as an Educational Interpreter.
I have a 17yr old Deaf+ daughter, so I have lived experience also.
